Software Developer to design Robot communication and configuration

Location:                 Oslo, Stutensee (Germany) or Barcelona

Career Level:          Professional / Senior Level

Role and Responsibilities

You are responsible for everything related to robot communication and configuration, to support our software and hardware team to improve our robots. The objective of your work is to make field crew independent regarding download, robot configuration, Field report and Field DQA.

Responsibilities

• Involved in firmware requirements and system design
• Be the owner of the robot communication API
• Responsible for all software services around robot communication (configuration, monitoring, setup, testing, downloading)
• Investigate potential synergies, convergence studies between UT and ART on robot control, processes, tools

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• MSc / BSc in CS or engineering or similar
• 5+years active programming
• Embedded Systems background     
• Signal processing background
• Linux and Scrum experience
• .NET/C# and WPF experience is a plus
• Passionate for modern coding style (Clean code / Test driven development)
• Fluent English in speaking and writing. Local language skills is a plus
