  IT project manager for the implementation of a new IT backend to deliver costumer content to customers via the internet.

The project comprises the integration of frontend systems (apps, clients), setup of new OTT video streaming infrastructure including the deployment of server and network equipment in data centres, as well integration of CRM.

The project is already running and has a defined timeline, scope and budget.

The project organization includes teams from all territories (Germany, Italy, UK, Portugal) as well as external suppliers for software development and delivery/installation of server & network equipment in data centres. The advertised role will be part of the customer Germany organization.
The place of work will partly be remote and partly on site at the customer Germany headquarters in Munich, Germany. Approx. 2-3 days per week are expected to be onsite work.

Methodologies for project delivery are waterfall as well as agile depending on involved teams and work stream.

This project manager will work as part of a team of project managers where each project manager is responsible for a defined set of deliverables.
The primary task of the advertised role is working closely with the project manager peers in order to keep an overview of the overarching scope, timeline and budget and coordinate activities across the delivery work streams. This includes managing and documenting budgets, reporting, tracking timelines and dependencies, as well as a proactive management of risks.
The secondary (additional) task of the advertised role will be the delivery of individual project deliverables which contribute to the overall scope. As part of this activity the project manager will work together with analysts, architects, developers, and test managers.
