mecorad was founded in 2018 with the vision that there is a need for a more smoothly running steel and metals industry to answer the growing needs of increasing urbanization. That is why we are on our way to automate this industry for precise inline interventions so that our customers can save energy and material losses. We do this by in-line measurement with IIoT radar technology, analysis and optimization during hot metals forming.

Backend Architect/Developer for IIoT (m/f/x)

What we would like you to work on

• Working on existing micro services and our backend solutions
• Developing cross-platform services
• Working together within our team to create interconnected products
• Planning the architecture of upcoming backend services with the focus on performance
• Documenting your progress and the architecture of our services
• Be in touch with our R&D office in Cologne

What you can give to our team

• University degree in Computer Science, new graduates are welcome
• Interest in developing in languages like Javascript, GoLang or Python
• Know the difference between structured code and object oriented programming
• Experience in workingwith and creating flow charts, class/function documentation
• Skills in NodeJS, NPM packaging system
• Interest in working with web sockets, TCP/UDP sockets, REST, MQTT or other interfaces
• Good English skills, reading and writing
