Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President of IT, the incumbent is part of a team that oversees and participates   in the design, development, management, implementation and maintenance of the company's cyber security systems and procedures. The team creates and maintains a business continuity plan, strategies for the continuous improvement of our security posture for all Eddyfi/NDT business units. The person collaborates with Eddyfi/NDT’s system and system implementation managers.

In this role, you will have to:

• Monitor, detect, investigate, analyze and respond to security events in the company;
• Design various strategies and defense systems against intruders;
• Develop new protective bases and update security systems;
• Maintain day-to-day operations and data structures by overseeing operational performance;
• Management of firewalls and all security systems.
• Challenge, document and disseminate security policies;
• Hunt and detect threats in order to control them;
• Assist/conduct penetration testing, vulnerability scans and perform specific research and analysis;
• Carry out user awareness campaigns and establish access control strategies;
• Be available on holidays and weekends occasionally to provide coverage in emergency situations. 

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• Degree or certification in cybersecurity or other relevant disciplines, or a combination of relevant training and experience;
• Extensive knowledge of industry security practices and user behavior analysis;
• Experience in defining and enforcing IT securitypolicies.
• You have good capabilities in the design, architecture and implementation of networks, VMS, databases, security and Cloud;
• You have knowledge of Microsoft 365 and related technologies;
• You have knowledge of one or more scripting technologies like PowerShell;
• You have experience in the administration, support of infrastructures and installations on the different sites (equipment, material, food, environment);
• English language skills
